Technology Product Manager - Part-time, fully remote contractor role with growth potential
Ready to step up into a role with real ownership, influence and variety?
Accountests is looking for a practical, commercially minded Technology Product Manager to take ownership of our digital product platforms, customer workflows and product improvement initiatives.
This is a fully remote, part-time, contractor opportunity of approximately 20 hours a week, for someone who enjoys both the doing and the thinking: keeping platforms running, solving problems, improving customer journeys, and helping shape how the product evolves.
About Accountests
Accountests is a world-leading specialist in online assessment tools for accounting and bookkeeping recruitment. Our products help businesses make smarter, more confident candidate selection decisions by assessing technical knowledge, critical thinking, and work-related strengths.
We’re on a mission to raise the standard of recruitment decision-making in our specialist niche. We’re growing fast, with ambitious plans for what comes next, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.
We’re a close-knit, supportive, and fun team where people are trusted to take ownership and make things happen. Because we’re a small but ambitious business, this role offers the chance to have real influence, make a visible impact, and help shape the future of Accountests’ product and customer experience.
About the Role
This is not a narrow task-based role. You will be expected to take ownership of product management activity across our digital platforms, while still being hands-on enough to manage the day-to-day work that keeps the customer experience running smoothly.

You will oversee digital product platforms and related workflows, ensuring customers have a smooth experience from first interaction through to purchase, test delivery and follow-up communication.
You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities to improve customer engagement, increase trial/demo/enquiry-to-customer conversion, support customer re-engagement, and improve operational efficiency.
You'll have the opportunity to influence customer growth, engagement and product evolution while helping the business scale more effectively.
While the role starts at around 20 hours per week, there is genuine potential for the scope, hours, and structure of the role to grow as Accountests continues to expand.
