About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in a senior, project-driven role. As the Project Manager – IT Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary owner of our entire digital ecosystem, including infrastructure, vendor relationships, website, LMS, and social media handles. This is a remote position based in India, ideal for a seasoned IT professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and is eager to lead strategic initiatives that enhance our technological capabilities. Your responsibilities will encompass managing day-to-day IT support, overseeing digital platforms, and driving IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring seamless operation across all digital touchpoints.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent proven experience. You should have between 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, or IT project management. Proven expertise in managing third-party vendors, SLAs, and IT contracts is essential. You must be proficient in domain management, DNS, web hosting, SSL certificates, and website management through CMS platforms like WordPress. Experience administering an LMS is highly desirable, along with strong skills in managing social media and digital handles at an organizational level. Excellent communication, coordination, and independent working capabilities are required to succeed in this remote environment. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, cybersecurity credentials, or familiarity with automation tools and basic HTML/CSS will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all organizational email accounts, domains, DNS configurations, SSL certificates, and renewals to ensure uninterrupted digital operations.
- Provide comprehensive day-to-day IT support to remote team members, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Oversee cloud platforms such as OneDrive, Zoom, and MS Teams, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user access management.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including two-factor authentication, password policies, data backups, and access controls to safeguard organizational data.
- Onboard and offboard users across all digital tools and platforms, maintaining accurate IT asset inventory and license tracking.
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot the organization’s website, ensuring content accuracy, performance, and security patches, primarily using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including user access, content uploads, and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Coordinate with developers or external agencies for website upgrades, feature enhancements, and performance improvements.
- Monitor all third-party digital accounts—LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others—ensuring compliance with platform policies and managing account access and recovery processes.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard third-party IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, SLAs, and pricing to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Maintain ongoing vendor relationships, tracking deliverables, renewals, and performance metrics to ensure high-quality service levels.
- Evaluate new tools and platforms, providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and coordinate all IT-related projects, maintaining project timelines, tracking milestones, and communicating progress to senior management.
- Prepare periodic IT reports, analyze system performance, and present strategic recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
