Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources into usable formats for analysis and reporting.
• Develop and maintain data integration solutions to facilitate the seamless flow of data between different systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data assets, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and optimize data processing and storage infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, utilizing tools and technologies such as Azure Data factory, Databricks, Apache Spark, and other cloud-based data services.
• Collaborate Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers and Architects to design scalable and efficient data solutions to meet business needs.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data engineering and big data technologies, continuously improving skills and knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and techniques for organizing and optimizing data storage and retrieval.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services such as Databricks and Lakehouse.
• Has previous experience working with Python and Spark
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL, with experience working with relational databases and data modeling techniques.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
