About the Team
The Record Management team leads the experience for viewing and creating sales records (people, accounts, opportunities, etc.) which are the most heavily interacted pages within Outreach. The team’s primary mission is to help reps browse a wealth of data as well as help the customer to extend outreach data model according to their needs.
The Role
We are expanding an existing team and we are looking for additional experienced backend software engineers to join us, who can deep-dive on challenging technical problems, build scalable solutions and identify performance bottlenecks, iterate quickly and deliver incremental value and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Your engagement would usually start with requirements clarification with the product manager or our partners. You will have the opportunity to put the best of your ideas to the design and prove your coding skills in actual implementation. We primarily use micro services written in GO on the back-end. However, we have legacy code in Ruby on Rails and you might encounter TypeScript too. We have data stores built on MySQL, PostgreSQL and various NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB. We are transitioning our data loading layer to use GraphQL.
But it does not end with coding! Testing, deployments and production support are vital parts of our devops lives too.
Location
While we are remote-friendly, we remain an "office-centric" company.
