Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12 mo contract, likely extensions or conversion
Schedule: M-F day shift, core hours (EST/CST, flexible)
Location: 100% REMOTE anywhere in the US
Compensation: $70-75/hr approx.
Start Date: ASAP (approx. 2-3 weeks after offer acceptance)

Must Haves:
- 10yrs+ DevOps experience
- 6yrs+ working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 5yrs+ exp with Terraform (IaC) & Ansible (configuration management)
- Pipeline expertise (create/maintain/troubleshoot)
- Ability to automate tasks/processes with scripting languages such as Python, AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc

In addition to resolving production issues, this individual will play a key role in driving automation and rebuilding existing processes to improve overall system reliability and efficiency. Much of the work will focus on identifying recurring issues and engineering long-term solutions, including strengthening critical workflows such as DNS playbooks by implementing guardrails and fail-safes. The environment emphasizes a proactive mindset, where engineers are expected to continuously look for opportunities to reduce manual effort and prevent future incidents.
This role sits at the intersection of operations and engineering, allowing you to take on manageable problems and turn them into scalable, automated solutions, while collaborating with a broader engineering team on more complex initiatives. You will also contribute to building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure through automation, and supporting a multi-cloud ecosystem.
