Data Engineer (based in Dubai) in CHINA

Our engineering team in Dubai is scaling. We provide relocation package to be based in Dubai.

We are looking for exceptional talents who can demonstrate high data engineering skillsets:

1. Good experience in data warehousing and big data development using spark and data lake.
2. Strong coding skills in python for the development work in supporting A/B testing, product & operations efficiency improvement and revenue growth.
3. Familiar in using Tableau to show meaningful insights from different data sources.

Responsibility:

• Design , Construct, and Maintain efficient and reliable data Pipeline and Warehouse from diverse data .
• Utilize Hive, Spark, and Presto for big data processing and analysis
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Collaborate with data analysts and business units to understand data requirements and provide technical support .
• Build a resilient data architecture from complex data sources, ensuring alignment and accuracy in data calculations
• Optimise data processing workflows to improve efficiency and performance
• Support business-related data push and dashboard development requirements
• Support the collection of competitor-related data and build the infrastructure for competitive analysis
• Write and maintain technical documentation to ensure code maintainability and scalability

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in big data engineering . Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Hive, Spark, and Presto for data processing and analysis
• Strong ETL development experience and familiar with common data transformation tools
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Bash scripting
• Crypto or Web3 related working experience
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must

• 具有丰富的 ETL 开发经验，熟悉常见的数据转换工具。
• 熟练使用 Tableau、Power BI 或类似的数据可视化工具。
• 强大的 Python 编程技能（必需）；Java 或 Scala 是加分项。
• 了解 Docker、Kubernetes 和 能够进行bash编程是加分项。
• 有加密货币或 Web3 相关工作经验者优先。
