Overview: Sentara is hiring a Senior MLOps & Generative AI Engineer to lead enterprise AI initiatives in healthcare, focusing on MLOps and Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- MLOps Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, governance, and automation.
- Generative AI Engineering: Architect, deploy, and optimize GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with AI Scientists, Data Engineers, and Product teams to operationalize AI/ML solutions.
- Ensure platform scalability, security, and compliance in healthcare environments (PHI, HIPAA).
- 5+ years in production software/ML systems.
- 1+ year in production GenAI or LLM applications.
- Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.

Compensation
Base pay: $91,416.00 - $152,380.80 annually (Full Time). Additional compensation may be available.
