In the Kiwi.com Shopping Experience team, we are responsible for our booking pages where customers register passenger details and select ancillary services. Booking is a critical domain within Kiwi.com that all our customers experience during their interaction with our services. Our work directly impacts the travel experience of 200k+ unique visitors and millions of EUR in revenue daily.
What You Will Do
- You'll play a crucial role in enhancing our booking flow experience. You’ll support the maintenance of architecture, improve performance, and prepare it for future growth.
- Conducting code reviews and maintaining a clean, well-organized codebase will be part of your daily work.
- You will participate in cross-platform discoveries, working in close collaboration with our backend teams, writing technical proposals, and implementing our customer-facing features.
- Sharing your knowledge will be part of your journey; you'll be supporting more junior colleagues to grow, engage in frontend gatherings, and enrich our community with your expertise.
What You Will Need
- Your strong knowledge of FE technologies like React, Next.js, Redux, React-form, and Tailwind CSS.
- A proven ability to build and maintain the architecture of large Frontend applications, including their communication with Backend services.
- Knowledge about the performance of JS applications - you know how to measure performance, you can write efficient code, find problematic places in the code and how to fix it.
- Excellent communication skills, for clear explanation and documentation of technical details.
- Previous experience with testing frameworks including Jest, Testing Library, and Playwright.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative team environment, contributing to shared goals and problem solving.
