Senior Embedded Engineer in EINDHOVEN AREA

Your Tasks:

• Innovative Development: diverse tasks including the development of software interfaces that provide communication and data transfer between software components, implementation of algorithms, driver development, implementing solutions for software issues, development of applications with a graphical UI interface and many more. 

Examples of our solutions include unmanned vehicle control, using Simulink and Python, we model the complete functional behaviour of a system (ISO 3691-4 safety regulation & model based design). We designed and developed (with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch) an autonomous observation system where, with multiple cameras, a full 360 degree view was created.

• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of quality and reliability in all projects.
• Mentorship: Code review and coaching of junior engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
• Team-work: Actively participate in meetings and share your thoughts and ideas.

Your Profile:

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in (embedded) software development on platforms like Linux and Windows.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in (modern) C++ and experienced in programming languages such as C, Python, Rust, and/or Matlab.
• Methodologies: Familiar with methodologies, techniques, and standards such as Object-Oriented Design, UML, Design Patterns, Agile, TDD, and IEC-62304 Medical Software.
• Communication: Excellent command of English, both oral and written. Command of Dutch is a bonus.
• Personal Attributes: Accurate, proactive, and eager to learn. A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude who can also work independently.
