We are currently recruiting a HR Administrator to join our Human Resources Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who has graduated in HR to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Group HR Manager and will be based out of one of our regional offices in the UK or Ireland. The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis, and will require weekly office attendance.



Key Responsibilities


  • Provide HR support across the full employee life cycle, including employee engagement, recruitment & selection, performance management, compensation & benefits, training and development and communication.
  • Support with the monthly payroll process for UK and Ireland.
  • Prepare and issue contracts of employment, new starter documentation, regret communications, changes to terms and conditions, reference letters etc.
  • Ensure effective HR administration processes are in place and are coordinated and delivered daily.
  • Maintain HR files and records ensuring compliance with GDPR on our internal systems.
  • Complete the Disclosure and barring (DBS) checks required, checking their progress and ensure they are received.
  • Assist HR Team with all aspects of Administration.
  • Assist with HR induction of new staff and onboarding process.
  • Ensure all probation reviews are completed in a timely manner and signed documentation is filed appropriately.
  • Tracking the expiry of fixed term contracts, ensuring new contracts are issued in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and track maternity leave, parental leave, unpaid leave, force majeure leave etc. to ensure the correct amount of leave is taken, payroll is notified, and all required documentation is completed.
  • Update the HR system will all new starter information and changes to terms and conditions.
  • Support with the work permit/visa process for staff outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
  • Support of the internal and external recruitment and selection processes, including administration.
  • Liaise with health & safety and Managers during induction process to ensure all new starter documentation is completed.
  • Ensure management are compliant with employment law and best practice HR.
  • Compile HR reports to include the production of accurate, monthly reports and statistics for management.
  • Assist with specific HR and business-related projects requiring HR input.
  • Assist with other duties as requested.



Requirements


  • A Degree in Human Resources is desirable but not essential.
  • CIPD Level 3 is desirable but not essential.
  • HR system experience, experience of Bamboo HR is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a busy HR / administration role.
  • Basic understanding of UK & Irish employment law.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures.
  • Discrete with a high level of integrity and trust with confidential information.
  • Highly motivated with an ability to organise own workload and drive results and work independently.
  • Excellent administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
