About The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our business strategy and operations team, focusing on revenue planning and growth across both the US and JP markets. You have a passion for problem-solving and business modeling, and you possess the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. You excel at understanding business needs, have excellent communication skills, and can work collaboratively with various stakeholders (sales, consumer marketing, product, etc.) to drive successful business outcomes. You also have hands-on data skills and can effectively navigate ambiguous situations to facilitate decision-making. This position has huge visibility to the company's senior leaders, providing you with a unique opportunity to influence key business decisions and the future direction of our company.

Role And Responsibilities

• Regularly provide senior leadership a complete view of ad revenue streams, mainly for the Japan market
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities to grow Ad Business and help Ads-related teams achieve their goals
• Contribute to quarterly/annual planning by organizing, analyzing, and cross-functionally communicating internal/external data
• Gather and extract insights from research on competitors and relevant industries (media, mobile apps, etc.)
• Help define the most important KPIs to use for tracking and analyzing Ad Business health and performance
  
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in a strategy consulting, high-growth technology firm, ad monetization analytics or a related field.
• Interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends and applied knowledge of measurement, statistics and program evaluation.
• Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and influence cross-functionally with multiple teams. Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort interpreting a variety of different data sources from qualitative research to primary survey data to secondary data sources and creating one cohesive story
• Experience in scripting with SQL, extracting large sets of data
