Command & Query is a product and design studio building digital ecosystems and software products for ambitious organizations. We're growing, and we're looking for an imaginative, user-obsessed UI/UX designer to grow with us.
About the role
You'll own the design process end-to-end — from user research and early concept through high-fidelity UI and hand-off to engineering — across web and mobile products. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and clients to ship interfaces that are genuinely useful, not just visually polished.
What you'll do
- Create user-centered designs that help people get things done and make their lives easier
- Develop empathy for users — understanding who they are and the context they operate in
- Drive all stages of the design process, from concept to final engineering hand-off
- Communicate your thinking clearly through wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Stay current with standards, tools, and trends in the UI/UX field

What we're looking for
- A strong UI/UX portfolio (required with application)
- Formal education in UI design
- 2+ years of professional design experience
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) plus Google Workspace
- Solid understanding of web interface and interaction design
- Solid understanding of iOS/mobile interface and interaction design
- Fluency in English
