BRAND NEW ROLE - Database Engineer - UP TO £40K + Benefits - Fully Remote - Travel To Manchester Once Every 3 Months
Mostly remote Database Engineer + benefits for one of the UK's biggest utility companies. You'll be joining the pricing and billing team.
This role isn't just your usual Database Engineer role though. You know those ones that are covered in red tape and where you are on your own with no other SQL specialists on your team?
It's for a company that has a built-out SQL team that prides itself on designing and developing the best database solutions using all the latest technology.
This company also prides itself on the non-corporate culture they have established by creating an inclusive and transparent/realistic environment.
In this role, you'll be focused on second-line support for the business. Writing SQL statements, understanding and breaking down the logic of stored procedures, debugging in T-SQL, and understanding functions.
This hire will also be given the opportunity to grow within the team and be given the training and resources to become an SQL Developer. You'll be working alongside/ receiving training from developers who have had over 10-15 years of experience developing SQL code.
I genuinely don't think there is a Database Engineer role like this right now in the North West!
