About the role
Devant specialises in creating highly detailed and diverse datasets of lifelike digital humans. Our synthetic digital actors perform actions and exhibit behaviours akin to real humans, with fully configurable characteristics such as age, BMI, and clothing. This flexibility allows customers to control every parameter of the datasets they order.
As we ramp up our deliveries of synthetic data, we are now looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) / Test Automation (TA) Engineer to join our Machine Learning team. You have an eye for details and finding defects, and you know how to proactively design test cases that let our machines catch any issues automatically.
In practice, you will be responsible for fault inspection, identification, and tracing of our customer data deliveries, which consist of synthetic images and underlying metadata. You will work closely with our internal teams and will need to understand how their systems work together to best understand potential fault sources.
Given the importance of this role, you will report to our Head of Machine Learning.
