We specialize in aggregates and concrete, sporting and horticultural sands, soils, compost, merchanting supplies, and waste management services. Our focus is on supporting the construction, landscaping, sports, and horticultural industries with quality products and services.
Location: Head Office, Caird Avenue, New Milton, BH25 5PX (office based with travel to our 10 sites as required)
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Salary: £50,000

NMSB are recruiting for an IT Manager to drive our company’s IT strategy, focusing on the company’s IT needs, but focusing on the components of the IT systems ensuring they are functioning at maximum efficiency.
Duties will include:
- Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure
- Recruitment, management and development of IT Team
- Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
- Managing outsourced IT provider relationship, ensuring service KPI’s are met
- Managing / Supporting the IT budget
- Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
- Assessing and purchasing hardware and licensing, taking advantage of new technologies to enhance the business offering
- Evaluate current IT Software and build case studies to invest in new software, where required
- Collaborate with in house software manager, on developments to existing software, API’s, App’s etc.
- Oversee and contribute to project management activities related to IT initiatives.
- Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively
- Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within IT operations
- Assisting with the management of the business communications packages
Candidates Must:
- Hold a relevant degree level qualification
- Proven experience in IT Management
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work toward tight schedules and deadlines and problem solving
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Full Driving Licence and access to own transport
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude to any change
