R eporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is a professional level position, playing a key supporting role in the divisional HR activities and process improvement initiatives. The primary focus of this role is providing accurate and efficient support on all HR processes, systems, and talent/development initiatives. The HR Coordinator will also develop, maintain, and expand upon our human resource metrics. This is a permanent, full-time position. The  Human Resources Coordinator will be based out of Toronto, Ontario (1551 Weston Road, M6M 4Y4).

Job Requirements
- B achelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
- 1 – 2 years relevant experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong reporting and data analytics skills.
- Advanced knowledge of document control best practices.
- Knowledge of HRIS Systems; experience with Oracle tools considered an asset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to develop buy-in from individuals through influence and maintain strong working relationships.





The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

HR Operations/Process Support

- Provide HR partnership to functional groups, supported by an HR Business Partner.
- Facilitate execution of divisional HR processes, including employee engagement survey, workforce planning, service anniversary process, perfect attendance, Check in (with Organizational Development), JDE Updates, Business Scorecard, Scholarships, Celebrations, Employee Appreciation Day (with support from Corporate), Christmas Cards/Turkeys, Fitness Reimbursement, Stat Holiday Calendar, MyAbsence.
- Provide subject matter expertise for HR Systems and modules, including time & absence management, training & development platforms (HCM Absence, Skillsoft)
- Onboard and train HR team members on divisional HR systems and processes.
- Identify and develop procedures and workflows for department business processes.
- Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee experience impacting events and programs.


T alent Development Support
- Support Organizational Development initiatives including talent & succession planning improvements, performance development process, and training.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance job description catalogues.


Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Conduct monthly reporting through Oracle HCM, Taleo, Kronos and Tableau.
- Ongoing management of the HR daily management process including maintenance and improvements associated with HR KPI’s and associated dashboards.
- Build adhoc reports from Reporting tools and support HR team with HR Analytics.
