Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Specialist to support and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure within a federal environment. This role will focus on Azure infrastructure administration, cloud operations, security, performance optimization, and support of mission-critical systems in a secure and compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Administer Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Identity & Access Management, and monitoring solutions
- Support cloud deployments, migrations, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and system performance activities
- Configure and maintain Azure security controls, policies, and governance standards
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and performance-related issues across cloud environments
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and application teams to support infrastructure initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and environment diagrams
- Support compliance and audit activities within federal cloud environments

Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10+ years of overall infrastructure/cloud experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
- Experience with Azure Networking, VMs, NSGs, Load Balancers, Storage, and Azure AD/Entra ID
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures
- Strong communication and documentation skills
