Python Developer
Outside – IR35
Fully Remote
Day Rate: £275-£300
6 months initial contract with possible extension
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in developing Plugins using Python and possess expertise in any of the following monitoring technologies/tools: Checkmk (Preferred and recommended), Zabbix, Nagios XI and OP5.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Python.
· Software developer to create a custom, continuous integration between resource scheduling tool and project management tool using Python and RESTful APIs.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
· Implement error handling, logging, and failure recovery mechanisms to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the integration solution.
· Increase performance and optimise consistency
Required Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 5+ years of Proven experience in Python, with a focus on Plug-in Development.
· Proven experience in Python programming and RESTful API development.
· Strong Experience in any of the similar monitoring tools like Checkmk (Preferred and recommended), Zabbix, Nagios XI and OP5.
· Experience with API integration, data mapping, and real-time synchronisation techniques.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
· Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems.
