About The Role

As a Backend Engineer at MobyX, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our industry-leading software solutions. Working collaboratively with our frontend, mobile, and data teams, you will contribute to building scalable and secure APIs, integrating third-party services, and optimizing system performance. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing efficient and secure backend systems
• Developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
• Optimizing system performance and ensuring scalability
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback

Requirements

Must-have:

• Proven work experience as a Backend Engineer of at least 2 years
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Good command of the English Language
• A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field

How to stand-out:

• Experience with managing containerized applications (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
• Understanding of security and data protection
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
