Global Compensation Specialist in NETHERLANDS

As a Compensation Specialist you will support the Global Compensation team in conducting analysis and studies to support the business functions in developing and administering effective compensation programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy.

The Compensation Specialist works directly with the Global C&B Teams as well as HR Operations and HR Advisory to support day to day requests. Explains the reward programs and processes to stakeholders. Conducts analyses to support decision making and provides recommendations to the broader C&B team.

This position will be based in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day resolution of compensation related queries
  • First line of escalation of employee and HRA compensation related issues
  • Support annual salary review process
  • Test and improve compensation related processes in Workday
  • Support various C&B initiatives including research implementation and communication, tool maintenance & updates
  • Participate in salary surveys as needed
  • Prepare reports to management members
  • Employee compensation administration - including processing calculations & eligibility, updating global presentations to reflect relevant requirements, interacting with regional Compensation, HR Operations, People Systems and Payroll teams
  • Engage in process improvement and simplification to drive efficient compensation practices
  • Update and maintain Rewards content on Employee Service Center


Skills/Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years related human resource, employee compensation experience or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with reporting and processing sensitive/confidential employee information
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft office
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail, analytical and a logical thinker with a drive to improve our current processes
  • General knowledge of Workday or other HRIS preferred
  • Ability to juggle priorities with ease and know how to make good trade-offs when needed.
