We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Senior SOC Engineer to join their team! This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading engineering specialist who solves the toughest problems in marine, space, aeronautics, defence and cyberspace engineering to meet the ever-evolving needs of their customers worldwide!



What You Can Expect

  • Location – Remote
  • Salary - £60,000 - £90,000
  • Industry – Defence and Intelligence
  • Work Type – Permanent


Key Responsibilities as a Senior SOC Engineer

  • Lead the design, build & deployment of forensic analysis tooling
  • Track & analyse a range of CSIRT tools
  • Work closely with Incident & Response Engineers to deliver cyber mitigation solutions
  • Assist Security Architecture Planning & Design


Core Experience and Skills

  • Experience with two or more forensic CSIRT tools
  • Strong knowledge of current host, network vulnerabilities and exploits, advanced computer network exploitation methodologies and tools
  • An advanced user of Perl, Python, or other scripting languages preferred
  • SC Clearance – Either actively cleared or eligible for clearance – UK National
