Core Gameplay QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Functional testing of new features and bugs;
• Analysis and understanding of game mechanics;
• Development and updating of test documentation aimed at ensuring the stability and performance of the game;
• Quality control of the game project;
• Close cooperation with the team of developers and game designers to reproduce, localise defects, and verify fixes;
• Collaboration with QA teams to improve testing strategies and develop best practices for functional testing;
• Creation of clear and detailed defect reports and communication with the development team and stakeholders;
• Assistance in the development and support of automated test frameworks as a customer;
• Continuous updating of knowledge about new testing tools and strategies.

Skills and requirements:

• QA Engineer experience of 3+ / 5 years or more; 
• Attention to detail and curiosity;
• Knowledge of test design techniques and their applicability;
• Responsibility and ability to manage features independently;
• Experience with defect and test management systems (e.g. Jira+Testrail)
• A systematic approach to problem solving;
• Excellent communication skills and team player mindset;
• Good understanding of the game development process.

Nice-to-Have:

• Practical experience with Unreal Engine/Unity/other game engines;
• Knowledge of performance testing;
• Passion for football.
