GridironIT is seeking (2) DevOps Engineers local to the Lorton, VA area.
TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Opportunity:
We are searching for a Cleared Kubernetes Engineer (DevOps) to join our dynamic team in Lorton, Virginia. You will be responsible for leading the management and optimization of our Istio service mesh and applications running inside of it. As part of our infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our microservices-based applications, including Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, and Bitbucket.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field
3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
8+ years demonstrated performance in related technology.
Ability to develop solutions to complex IS compliance and security problems.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio.
Experience managing microservices-based applications.
Microsoft Information Request SAF/AQ Project Order Confidential and Proprietary
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to document and troubleshoot issues that arise in a production environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility required
Travel up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
Technical certifications in Azure
Application development experience on Azure
Requirements
Must be within driving distance of Lorton, VA OR willing to relocate there (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
Must be willing to work onsite
Must be willing and able to travel frequently
Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility or above
