Responsibilities:

  • Requirements validation
  • Automation scope definition
  • Estimation of automation efforts
  • Automation test creation and maintenance
  • Automation test results analysis and bug reporting
  • Creation and maintenance of AQA artifacts and documentation
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting
  • API and contract-based automation
  • Automation of services core functionality
  • Mentoring and knowledge-sharing
  • Collaboration with the Development Team


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Java Automation (full-time)
  • Good understanding of software testing theory and methodologies
  • Knowledge and skills in requirements validation (BRD)
  • Experience in test analysis, preparation, and planning skills
  • Experience with Task Management systems, Test Management systems (e.g. Testmo, TestRail)
  • Ability to build and maintain Test Documentation and Reports
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL (DDL & DML at least)
  • Good understanding of client-server architecture
  • Strong understanding of OOP/Design Patterns
  • Experience with CI tools, Git
  • Experience with TestNG/Junit, RestAssured, Mockito, JavaFaker (or similar)
  • Experience with Test Driven Development
  • OpenAPI/Json schema validation
  • OSI from Transport to Application layers
  • Strong critical thinking
  • High attentiveness to details
  • Good communication skills
  • Good level of problem-solving skills


Optional:

  • Experience in payments domain (third-party integration)
  • Experience in using tools: Sentry, Kibana, Grafana, Kafka
