The opportunity
We’re seeking no less than a unicorn development leader to help us re-imagine the future of e-commerce, turn ambitious concepts into reality, and deliver AI-driven product experiences that bring joy, utility, and fulfillment into our users' lives.
We’re a flat team of super-ICs, operating with minimal structure and hierarchy, emphasizing empowerment, decentralized decision making, and bias towards action from junior staff on up.

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a seasoned VP of Development to provide leadership across our business, including SimplyCodes and Product.ai. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll report directly to our CEO, collaborating closely with our AI engineering, data science, growth, and design teams, running iterative product innovation processes, shipping features and new products, and aligning resources towards business goals.
What you’ll do
- Provide strategic leadership for our products, spanning vision to execution, with emphasis on data-driven decision making and deep understanding of technology trends (in particular generative AI) and market / competitive dynamics to steward our products to achieve their growth, user satisfaction, and sustainability objectives.
- Play point for driving our teams and resources to meet tight deadlines and P0 / P1 metrics. Continuously prune, re-optimize, re-scope, accelerate roadmaps, backlogs, and execution plans, breaking through barriers, eviscerating inertia, and being a source of kinetic energy and motivation across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering, AI, data science, product design and growth teams, infusing a lean startup mentality to our product development and growth execution to ensure we’re delivering products with a rapid, agile, efficient, iterative approach to maximize results while minimizing risk.
- Collaborate with our Product Design team to re-imagine and re-invent traditional human-computer interaction paradigms in the age of conversational LLMs and spatial / ambient computing.
About you
- You’re an end-to-end, visionary product manager, combining the business and strategic sense of an entrepreneur / innovator with the attention to detail, project management acumen, and technical execution capabilities of a technical program manager.
- You have a track record of managing complex, multi-surface digital consumer products running at scale.
- You have a deep understanding of generative AI, including hands-on experience with the latest tools, and an understanding of how to manage digital products as they transition from screen-centric to conversation-centric / spatial / ambient contexts.
- Bonus if you have experience building and running UGC-driven products involving user input, crowdsourcing, community governance, and gamification mechanisms.

- Starting total cash compensation: $300K - $525K DOE.
- Stock options: 0.50% to 1.50% initial grant
