One of the companies with which we collaborate in Joppy, dedicated to the development of applications in the HealthCare sector, is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with experience in Python and/or NodeJs environment to join its team in Spain (Full Remote work mode from Spain).
About the Role: We’re looking for a talented and passionate Senior Backend Engineer to join our development team. You’ll be working on a big variety of platforms to support and expand a set of apps, including the most popular Motivation app - with over 20 million users.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our APIs, admin tools, and website
- Build data integrations, help define our data model and research ways to improve our sorting algorithm
- Continuously learn new technologies and platforms (Slack, Alexa, and Discord apps, Chrome extension, ML models…
- Work at all stack layers, including AWS, Python, FastAPI, NodeJS, and SQ
- Take an active role in identifying the tooling and infrastructure needs of the compan
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, passion for learning new technologies, and genuine care for our use
- At least 8+ years designing and developing APIs, 5+ years in Python, NodeJS, or simil
- Extensive experience scaling and maintaining high-traffic, resilient modern AP
- Strong experience in creating new APIs from scrat
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD too
- Proficiency with Git and Gitl
- Strong experience with Redis and ElasticSearch databas
- Ability to hack solutions when necessary, making the right trade-offs in dealing with conflicting prioriti
- Ability to understand product needs, and translate them into technical solutio
- Current residence in Spain and working permit in EU (MANDATOR
- Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly in English and Spanish. (MANDATO
