🚀 Your mission as the Junior BI Engineer!
You will be instrumental in leveraging data to enhance the gaming experience for our global user base. By fueling/delivering data to insightful reports and dashboards, the Junior BI Engineer will support data-driven decision-making across various departments. This role aims to optimize our platform’s performance, improve user engagement, and drive business growth through actionable insights.
You will be working on:
- CSGORoll: the world’s #1 skin gaming site. A community social gaming platform targeted towards CS2 players, featuring unique in-house custom-built games such as Roulette, Crash, Unboxing, and PVP.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business operations.
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of the data warehouse.
- Support data integration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure data security and integrity.
- Work closely with product managers, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Suggest and implement improvements to existing BI processes and tools.
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a BI, data analysis, or related role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database querying.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
