About The Role
We're seeking an experienced QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of software products to join our founding team.
As one of the earliest members of a fast-growing team, you’ll have an opportunity to help build and maintain a robust testing infrastructure for features directly used by thousands of users. Success in this role will naturally lead to rapid progression and leadership opportunities. You will report directly to the CTO.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
Lead the testing efforts for new features and releases, ensuring high-quality standards are met
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating closely with the development team for resolution
Perform both manual and automated testing, using tools like Cypress, and others
Continuously improve the testing processes, methodologies, and tools
Contribute to product road mapping alongside the founding team and prioritize testing efforts according to customer needs
Respond to technical customer support queries and report back to the engineering team
Your Existing Skills
You have 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
You have deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, software development life cycle, and tools(e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
You have experience with API Testing tools such as Postman or similar tools
You have a superb understanding of automation systems and databases
You have the ability to contribute and direct at all levels of testing, including functional and regression testing
You have experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira)
You have Knowledge of a programming language such as JavaScript or Python
You have strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You can work through copious amounts of ambiguity to deliver on expectations (this is a startup, after all!).
Bonus points
Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Experience testing web applications, preferably using React and Node.js
You have experience or interest in AI and enterprise SaaS
