Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, tune, and maintain SSIS packages;
  • Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process;
  • Write scripts for automated testing of data in the target facts and dimensions;
  • Capture audit information during all phases of the ETL process;
  • Write and maintain documentation of the ETL processes via process flow diagrams;
  • Conduct appropriate functional and performance testing to identify bottlenecks and data quality issues;
  • Collaborate with business users, support team members, and other developers throughout the organization to help everyone understand issues that affect the data warehouse;
  • Maintain documentation on all SSIS packages developed and deployed;
  • Assist in the development of data integration strategies for new data sources;
  • Keep abreast of new features and functionality in SSIS and make recommendations on how they can be utilized to improve ETL processes;
  • Provide training and support to other team members on the use of SSIS.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in developing, designing, tuning and maintaining SSIS packages;
  • Experience in developing complex SQL queries for data analysis;
  • Knowledge in design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process;
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Power BI;
  • Bachelor s complete or Master’s degree in a technology/business/engineering/computer science is a must.

Languages

  • Advanced English for conversation is mandatory
  • Advanced Spanish for conversation is mandatory
