We are currently looking for a talented Mid-Level DevOps Engineer for one of our major clients in the Banking sector.
The working model is hybrid in Athens, Greece and relocation assistance may be provided to selected candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in infrastructure and application deployments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with related tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- English fluent
