The Overview:

A leading player in the domain of Smart Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join its Development Department. As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the Azure Cloud infrastructure. This role is vital to ensuring high availability, scalability, and security, working closely with Development and Operations teams to drive automation, streamline processes, and optimize the Cloud environment.

Job Requirements:

The ideal Azure Cloud Engineer is someone who excels in innovative thinking to enhance solutions, both technically and procedurally. Possessing a structured and precise work style with a helicopter view approach, the candidate is an effective communicator and listener, actively bridging the gap between development, operations, and product teams. Proficiency in explaining complex concepts clearly and the ability to ask critical questions when needed are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Configure and monitor networking within the Azure environment, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, firewalls, and VPN gateways.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of Azure resources, covering networking security and identity and access management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Monitor performance, analyze system logs, and implement proactive measures to optimize Azure resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with Azure's best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure-based cloud solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform, or Pulumi.
  • Strong knowledge of (virtual) networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN. Familiarity with mobile datacom (APN) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines or equivalent technology.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures within Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
