As a C# .NET Developer you will participate in the development of our APIs and Front Ends to support the Tacx Apps and integration with Garmin Connect. In this role, you will be working closely with the Product owner and other team members to implement new features for our interactive Tacx application and align the way of working.


The Software & App Development team

The Tacx app (available for IOS, Android and Windows) connects with Tacx trainers and makes indoor cycling more realistic, challenging and fun. With our extensive collection of real-life videos and group rides we are serving thousands of cyclists worldwide and helping them push their limits and reach their goals. In this client-facing product environment we continuously need to improve performance, quality, features and design. Next to this, we aim to join the Garmin ecosystem, creating an all-season cycling experience.


The software & app development team has grown rapidly in the past years. Currently, it consists of 40 people (of 10 different nationalities) spread across 5 working on feature and platform activities. Next to this we aim to join the Garmin ecosystem, creating an all-season cycling experience.


What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

  • Implement a high quality and scalable solution together with our team of developers, designers, automation engineers and testers.
  • Pro-actively address any issues or bugs and solve these if prioritized.
  • Adhere to principles, patterns and practices together with the team.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Partner with the Product team and Business analysts to create new concepts and features.
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge that benefits their skill development.
  • You are someone who inspires others with his/her passion and ambition.


What do we expect from you?

  • multiple years of experience working with the .NET framework and C# programming language.
  • Working experience with Azure Cloud Services.
  • Experience with web programming frameworks like ASP.NET Core (REST APIs), GraphQL (Hot Chocolate)
  • A good understanding of git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Working experience in an Agile/Scrum way is a plus.
  • You can explain complex technology matters in simple terminology.
  • You are genuinely curious and constantly striving to learn.
  • Good communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.
