Description:
The client’s product ensures seamless service account governance from discovery and provisioning through decommissioning. It enables the protection of critical resources, reduces Service Account Sprawl, and provides security teams with central oversight and control by automating service account governance. It increases accountability, consistency, and oversight of service account management, and empowers client customers to manage and control service accounts with workflows and automated provisioning, governance, compliance, and decommissioning capabilities.
The project team comprises 3 engineers, 1 AQA 1 Product Owner, 1 UI/UX expert, and 1 Scrum Master and is overseen by the Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
Job Description
- Strong professional experience working as a software engineer, with a focus on .NET Core development.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing cloud-based applications using Azure services, including Azure SQL, Azure App Services, and Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture or Message-Driven Architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience developing multi-tenanted applications.
- Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code using tools like Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team.
Would be a plus
- Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Developer or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Experience with YAML
- Familiarity with Angular and Typescript.
- Knowledge of additional Cloud Platforms and services (AWS or GCP) and additional Kubernetes Platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
In the role and capacity of Senior Engineer – you will be expected to:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available cloud-based applications using C#/.NET Core and Azure App Services.
- Using Scrum processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Optimize applications and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-production issues, ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems.
- Consistently look for ways to improve the development and automation processes (code quality, E2E testing, security scans, etc.), monitoring, and tiered incidence response.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
