A cool client of ours who recently closed $20 million in series A and doubled their headcount over the last 12 months to 30 people are hiring 2 QA Engineers. Their mission is to empower teams to accelerate network automation by offering adaptable, open-source products and fostering a robust network automation community.
The company focuses on developing and supporting open-source tools and platforms to help organisations manage and automate their network infrastructure and are advancing the transformation of the networking industry through open-source innovation.
These two positions are to new roles but will be replacing two consultants they have relied on via an outsourcing company.
You will be working fully remotely with a distributed team across the UK and US (although all the tech team are based around the UK)
Your day to day:
- Write and maintain test scripts and REST API test automation in Python
- Utilise best practices of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Execute and write manual testing plans
- Test new and existing product features, plus develop regression tests as bugs are discovered and fixed.
- Analyze and report on results, then provided feedback to the team
- Develop test documentation
- Work autonomously but communicate extensively with the Platform Engineering team through written and verbal means.
It would be fantastic if you have the following experience:
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Javascript and Playwright
- AWS Cloud
- Github Actions and CI/CD skills
- Pytest and coverage testing
- Sentry for bug tracking
- Bash scripting
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills and team collaboration
