Job Description:

Our client, a leading consultancy is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Terraform to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline and automate our processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Automate and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and security of AWS resources.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate infrastructure and deployment needs.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Document processes, architectures, and configurations.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps culture
