Ruby on Rails Developer

We are DIGIPAL, a remote-only digital consultancy specialising in building high-performing product design and software development teams for clients of all size across Europe and North America.

We are looking for a  Ruby on Rails Developer for a long term 100% remote employment with a passion for building robust digital products, comfortable with Agile Software Development practices and willing to work in an international environment.

ROLE:

• Working as a Ruby on Rails Developer you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable software products for our clients
• Working in the development team, managed by a project manager (working with SCRUM Methodology)
• Performing the work with respect to programming best practices and code quality standards
• Consulting client on various programming-related matters, based on your knowledge and technical expertise

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as Ruby On Rails;
• Strong database skills with MySQL or another SQL dialect
• Knowledge of AWS administration (EC2, S3, RDS, among others)
• Experience using a version control system such as Git, understanding of branching strategies
• Experience with testing (unit testing, functional testing, etc.)
• Strong command of English language (B2+)
• Knowledge or at least good understanding in Docker
