We are looking for a talented and passionate Unity Developer to join our team to work on an innovative music game in Berlin. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating immersive and interactive gaming experiences that integrate seamlessly with music and rhythm. You will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and musicians to bring our game concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Game Development:
- Develop and maintain game features and systems using Unity and C#.
- Implement interactive and engaging gameplay mechanics focused on music and rhythm.
- Optimize game performance for various platforms (PC, mobile, consoles).
- Collaboration & Integration:
- Work closely with game designers, artists, and musicians to integrate music into the gameplay experience.
- Implement audio synchronization features and ensure seamless integration of music and sound effects.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Prototyping & Testing:
- Rapidly prototype new game concepts and features to evaluate feasibility and fun factor.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a high-quality gaming experience.
- Iterate on feedback from playtesting and improve game features accordingly.
- Innovation & Creativity:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in game development and music integration.
- Experiment with new tools, technologies, and techniques to enhance the gaming experience.
- Contribute creative ideas to the design and development of new game features.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Unity game development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and Unity3D engine.
- Experience with music and rhythm-based games is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of audio programming and synchronization techniques.
- Familiarity with game optimization techniques for performance improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for music and gaming, with a creative and innovative mindset.
