Job Description

Join our team as an Infrastructure Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in developing and managing the low-level technology stack behind the Risk Management team’s applications. Your primary responsibility will be the management and maintenance of Linux servers, ensuring efficient user management, system updates, and robust backup and recovery processes. You will also oversee the deployment of Risk Management’s applications, ensuring seamless operation and scalability. You will have the opportunity to introduce and integrate new technologies into the current stack. Additionally, your role will likely extend to include database management tasks such as setup, maintenance, and writing ETL processes. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with the Risk Management, Anti-Fraud, and IT Security departments. Your work on these systems will be vital in safeguarding the company from losses, directly contributing to the success and security of our organization.

• Main responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu).
• Handle application deployment and management (Docker, Dask).
• Incorporate new technologies into the existing technology stack.
• Operate RDBMS applications (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL).
• Develop and maintain ETL processes.
• Assist in maintaining the existing codebase (Python).

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving ability, with a creative, curious, and analytical mindset.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in server management and/or programming.
• Experience with Linux server management.
• Proficient in containerization technologies, such as Docker.
• Skilled in parallel computing frameworks, such as Dask.
• Familiarity with managing DBMSs (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL) is a plus.
• A willingness to learn relevant technologies applicable to their role or the field of IT and enterprise risk management.
• Experience in integrating, operating, maintaining, and improving Regulatory Technology solutions is a plus.
