Job Title: Quality Engineer

Working Pattern: Onsite 9/80

Working location: Indianapolis, IN

A new opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer. As a Quality Engineer for Rolls-Royce, you’ll work directly with manufacturing operations entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses and audits are conducted on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet specifications.

What You Will Be Doing:

Here you will have the opportunity to work on the following:

  • Investigating customer escapes and performs eight-step problem solving analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Developing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes and procedures
  • Reporting Rolls-Royce Corporate Quality performance metrics
  • Developing programs to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines

Who We’re Looking For:

Basic Requirements:

  • An Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience in engineering, quality or manufacturing
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in engineering, quality or manufacturing OR;
  • A Master’s degree OR;
  • A JD/PhD
  • In Lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in engineering, quality or manufacturing
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship

Preferred:

  • Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
  • Programming and database project experience using C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, VBA, VBS and/or SQL
  • Experience of GD&T system
  • Experiencing reading blueprints
  • Experience employing inspection techniques
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools
