Sr. Network Engineer (Hybrid CA or TX)
Are you a technical leader who thrives on building resilient, high-performance infrastructure? We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to drive the modernization and security of a large-scale enterprise network spanning multiple corporate sites.
In this role, you will lead hands-on technical initiatives from SD-WAN deployments to Zero Trust implementation ensuring seamless connectivity for both business-critical systems and production workloads.
Core Responsibilities
- Modernization & Strategy: Lead complex projects including firewall upgrades, VLAN restructuring, and cloud connectivity enhancements.
- Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day operations for LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN services across a distributed multi-site environment.
- High-Level Support: Serve as the final escalation point for intricate routing, switching, and security incidents.
- Security Integration: Maintain robust access solutions using Cisco ISE and advanced network segmentation to protect IT/OT environments.
- Reliability: Design for high availability, executing failover testing, and maintaining detailed system documentation.

- Experience: 7+ years of dedicated enterprise network engineering.
- Cisco Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Catalyst/Nexus switching and ISR/ASR routing.
- Protocol Proficiency: Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, L2/L3 troubleshooting, and STP.
- Security First: Strong experience with Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), including NAT, VPN, and security policy management.
- Connectivity: Proven success in operating SD-WAN and MPLS architectures.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in IT, CS, or equivalent industry experience.
