Network Architect in UNITED KINGDOM

You are a strong communicator with an affinity for global collaboration. You know the devil is in the details and the documentation. You push for standardization through automation. You also happen to like trading.

If so, you might be the next Network Architect joining the team.

Responsibilities

• Work on cross-team design efforts (including data centers and colocations or WAN routing optimization).
• Interact with the stakeholders to gather the requirements and network features/capabilities necessary for the business
• Contribute to the network automation
• Simplify the network design to limit outages

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Strong experience operating and deploying network infrastructure
• Experience in ground-up network design
• Confidence with Python scripting
• Experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)
• Experience troubleshooting protocols (TCP/UDP)
• Experience working with Linux and proficient in a programming language
• Ideally experience with overlay networks (EVPN, VxLAN)
• Eagerness to automate your workflow to increase efficiency
• High capacity to learn; we are more interested in how you think than what you already know
• Clear communication skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of customer service
