As a Payroll Specialist at Halo Media, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately managing the payroll process of our diverse and talented workforce. Your attention to detail will ensure that every employee is paid correctly and on time, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. In addition to processing payroll, you will also maintain meticulous records, proactively identify and resolve any payroll discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service to our valued employees. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to analyze payroll data and generate insightful reports to support strategic decision-making. With excellent communication abilities, you will effectively collaborate with the finance team and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues that may arise. Requirements
At least 5 years of experience working in the Payroll department of international companies
Thorough understanding of payroll regulations and industry best practices
Experience hiring contractors worldwide and US-based employees (experience with DEEL and ADP is a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish
Proficiency in payroll software, Excel reports and MS Office
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
High level of confidentiality and integrity
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required for Payroll Specialist position)
Experience using Quickbooks
Experience participating in various project implementations and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Experience working with People analytics
Experience managing Hibob is a plus,
Familiarity with Looker Studio
Advanced proficiency in using formulas (preferably G-Suite)
