🔵 About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality initiatives across modern digital products and platforms. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on automation expertise with a quality engineering mindset and the ability to influence teams, improve processes, and ensure every release meets high standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.
You will play a key role in defining QA strategy, building and maintaining automation frameworks, improving release confidence, and driving quality across the software development lifecycle.
🔵 Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance initiatives across the full software development lifecycle.
- Define, improve, and enforce QA standards, best practices, and quality metrics.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems.
- Build reusable automation scripts, test data strategies, and scalable test suites.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure quality is embedded early in the development lifecycle.
- Drive shift-left testing by contributing to design reviews, planning discussions, and early validation activities.
- Create and execute test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and performance needs.
- Perform deep defect analysis and lead structured root cause investigations for recurring issues.
- Identify corrective and preventive actions that improve product stability and release quality.
- Contribute to release planning, estimation, risk assessment, and production-readiness discussions.
- Ensure test environments, configurations, and data setups are reliable, reproducible, and well managed.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a strong quality engineering culture across teams.

🔵 Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in test automation.
- Proven experience building or maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Strong experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
- Solid experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.
- Good understanding of backend testing, integration points, and service-based architectures.
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and data integrity testing.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, test strategy, defect lifecycle, and release quality practices.
- Ability to clearly document defects with detailed reproduction steps, logs, and impact context.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
