🚀 Hiring: Senior GCP Data Architect (Fully Remote | 12-Month Contract)
I’m currently looking for an experienced GCP Data Architect to join a high-impact data transformation programme on a 12-month contract.
💰 Rate: $100–$120/hour
🌍 Location: Fully Remote (timezone overlap with UK/EU preferred)
📅 Duration: 12 months (strong likelihood of extension)
🔍 The Role
You’ll take ownership of designing and scaling a modern data platform on Google Cloud, working closely with engineering and business stakeholders.
This is a hands-on architecture role, ideal for someone who can both design and guide implementation.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end data architecture on GCP
- Build scalable data pipelines (batch & real-time)
- Define data models and warehouse strategy (BigQuery)
- Lead decisions across ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Implement data governance, security, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
