Middle Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in UKRAINE

Required skills

— 3+ years of experience in testing automation, with a preference for web applications

— Proficiency in testing methodologies, encompassing planning, design, execution, and reporting

— Strong scripting and programming skills(JS,Typescript), also preferred node.js

— Familiarity with basic SQL and databases

— Experience working in a CI environment and familiarity with CI/CD methodologies

— Prior experience in testing cloud-based services at both the frontend and backend

— A self-learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies

— Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

— Upper-intermediate level of English


Nice to have

— Experience in writing API tests


Responsibilities

— Learning new features, reviewing technical designs, and crafting comprehensive test plans (STDs) to ensure optimal product performance

— While manual testing will constitute a portion of your duties (approximately 30%), your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining automated tests across various layers (E2E, APIs, components, load, etc)

— Managing CI pipelines, addressing failures, minimizing flakiness, and maximizing test coverage

— Possess excellent communication skills to effectively track and communicate testing KPIs within our agile-based development, testing, and release process, where CI/CD plays a pivotal role
