Senior QA Automation Engineer | Cyber Security | £70,000-£75,000


Peaple Talent have partnered with a cybersecurity company that works with government agencies and commercial businesses to protect from malicious files with its Content Disarm and Reconstruction technology.


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Analyst to join our dynamic team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in the UK, providing flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.


As a Senior QA Automation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will drive architecture and best practice of test automation tooling and implementation, and be a conjugate between development and QA to ensure the entire team is contributing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts for functional and non-functional testing
  • Collaborate with developers to promote unit testing best practices and guide them in building testable code.
  • Work closely with DevOps engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish effective test execution strategies.
  • Analyse test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Analyst or similar role for 4+ years.
  • Significant development/scripting experience in Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with automated testing.
  • Experience in low level programming language testing, preferably C++.
  • Experience in software QA, with a strong focus on test automation for libraries.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
