Mission: The Marketing Manager MENA will lead and execute local marketing campaigns, manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, and oversee the creation of marketing materials. With your expert knowledge of the region and gaming industry, you will guide the team and drive new exciting initiatives. This role is crucial for driving brand growth and market presence in the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities
Drive local marketing campaigns covering all of EWCF’s products
Define, plan, implement, execute, and report on local cross-media consumer campaigns
Align the campaigns with stakeholders from other teams, communicate with them and implement them into EWCF’s products
Develop and cultivate key strategic relationships with stakeholders including community (clubs & teams/players), government entities, influencers, teams, venues, partners, agencies, and other third-party service providers
Effectively follow through with plans and bring campaigns to life
Create, produce, and manage marketing materials
Run task and campaign management, and media planning
Education, Experience, Skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or an equivalent experience
5-15 years of experience in the marketing field with exposure to developing marketing strategies (ideally within esports/ gaming/ sports/ entertainment environment
Extensive knowledge of local media consumption and content marketing
Marketing generalist (Social Media, Influencer, PR, OOH, TVC, event). Ability to execute and assume strong end-to-end ownership for integrated campaigns across all communication channels and measuring
Excellent communication and copywriting skills in English and Arabic
Prior professional experience within the esports/gaming industry
Understanding of consumer analytics and audience segmentation
Excellence in execution
Ability to interact with KSA Government bodies
Competencies in technical and personal areas
Leadership skills, ability to manage virtual teams and external agencies
High level of stress resistance and excellent ability to adapt easily and thrive in high-paced ever-changing environments
Effective presentation and communication, to present to senior internal and external stakeholders and align across departments and cultures, that work on campaigns
Proven track record of developing processes and approaches to scaling effective marketing and brand efforts locally (MENA)
Understanding of esports, entertainment, games, online communities, and how to drive the right partnerships, strategies, and events for them as well as traditional brands
