The Security Department oversees security, governance, risk management, and compliance, and security operations for all Agoda. We are vigilant in ensuring there is no breach or vulnerability threatening our company or endangering our employees to keep Agoda safe and protected. Given that the security ecosystem is moving forward at tremendous speed, we like to be early adaptors of recent technology and products. The Opportunity:

Our IT Security team is looking for an experienced, implementation focused, self-motivated Project Manager with IT Security background to drive key technology projects to completion. As a Project Manager, you will act as a point of liaison between the IT Security (Incident Response, Application Security & GRC) and global stakeholders (including but not limited to other Agoda Technology and Business teams but also External Auditors, Vendors, etc.).

Familiarity with basic concepts of Incident Response, Security Operations, Application Security, Risk Management, Compliance.

The role will require and independent pro-active thinker, strong stakeholder management, and natural team player.

This position is open to both local and international candidates with relocation support available for eligible candidates to help ensure a smooth transition to working and living in Bangkok.

In this Role, you will get to:

  • Delivery of a diverse range of projects from supporting external/internal audits to responding to RFIs, coordinating between IT security teams and managing stakeholders
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
  • Single point of contact for projects like: security or resiliency projects, audits, RFIs, external vendor for new initiatives
  • Independently plan and manage select key projects to completion – these will typically be projects which are highly cross-functional or sensitive.
  • Identifying and resolving complex problems/issues related to people, processes, and technology and strategy, both internally (organizational) and externally (client/engagement/project)
  • Prepare project status reports and conduct meetings regularly on progress, risks, issues, and recommended solutions
  • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
  • Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
  • Apply change, risk and resource management

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3 years of experience working in a project management role, or in a consulting company preferably in a security background.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and balance conflicting demands
  • Comfortable analyzing operational and technical data, working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Independent self-starter, problem-solving mindset, team player and ability to multi-task
  • You have skills in facilitating workshops, summarize orally and in writing, build presentations in PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, including presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Strong project management skills
  • The flexibility to make quick decisions as disasters change and develop

It’s great if you have:

  • Security professional certificate (CISA, CRISC, PMP, ITIL)
  • Experience leading global projects across different locations
  • Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

    • Stakeholder management – Works with clients and leadership
    • Oral Communication – Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively
    • Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information
