To expand our team of Associated Consultants, we are looking for a:

Data Scientist Engineer (Full-Time, Contractor)

IMPORTANT: due to GDPR restrictions, this position is ONLY for those based in Europe.

You can work from ANY COUNTRY in Europe, but only in Europe for this position.

Work with one of our customers in a modern, cloud-based infrastructure, with fully automated setup, testing and deployment.


We're looking for a talented Data Scientist with a solid foundation in computer science and mathematics.

This is a great opportunity for someone who's enthusiastic about data science and wants to make a real impact in the health and wellness world.


You have these key qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong grasp of mathematical statistics and data science principles.
  • Skilled in linear, multivariate, logistic, and multi-task regression.
  • Proficient in analysis of variance, confidence intervals, and model specification.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical concepts like SHAP values.
  • Interested in human health sciences; prior experience is a bonus.
  • Comfortable coding in Python, R, and C.
  • Experience with SQL. PostgreSQL is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.


You responsibilities will include:

  • Research and development on core data models using Python and R.
  • Implement and document models in C for internal and external use.
  • Actively collaborate with data, innovation, medical, technology, and product teams.
  • Assist the marketing team in creating relevant communication materials.
  • Work with global sales and customer data teams to solve complex questions about our data models and analysis.
