Your Daily Journey

  • Morning Routine: Start with coffee, log in, check emails and incident tool, resolve overnight issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Daily standup, share progress, tackle new stories from the Sprint overview.
  • Technical Excellence: Attend meetings, troubleshoot using vRealize tools, implement solutions.
  • Automation Focus: Automate tasks with Ansible and PowerShell, push code to Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • On-Call Duties: Manage incidents outside office hours, resolve hardware failures. Continuous Improvement: Plan demos, update documentation during spare time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve VMware infrastructure (ESXi, vRealize).
  • Automate processes with PowerShell and Ansible.
  • Manage and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Ensure infrastructure security, availability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement changes.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years with VMware technology stack.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Git, Pipelines).
  • Strong PowerShell and Ansible skills.
  • Experience with server hardware and vSAN.
  • Security-focused mindset. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Certifications (VCP/VCAP, Ansible, PowerShell) preferred.

Your Background

  • Experience in high-performing Agile IT teams.
  • Located in Europe and willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Offer

  • Inititial 12-18 month contract assignment, after which you'll become an internal employee with ING.
  • Hybrid working (on/off-line in the office) 36/40 hour work week.
  • Full pension according to Dutch temp labor CLA.
  • Bandwidth for a fixed term assignement: € 5.000,00 - € 6.250,00 gross per month, excl. holiday payments.
  • Holiday payments and a 13th-month.
  • Relocation services available for candidates living outside of the Netherlands.
